UEFA CUP SOCCER FINAL. Proved to be a huge success with our terrace being packed with avid Manchester and Chelsea fan supporters. Our chefs cooked up a storm on the braai serving boerewors rolls, steaks and English-style fish and chips. Tensions were high throughout the three hour match which ran into a penalty shoot out, affording Manchester the trophy. Unfortunately Chelsea fans were feeling rather … blue! Well done Manchester and thank you to all our guests who joined us for this exciting sporting event. We will keep you updated for future events.
Humanitarian Crisis in Cape Town. It is great to see organizations such as CTICC, G4S, The Haven, CCID and the City of Cape Town doing their bit in assisting with the refugees left homeless after all the attacks. We at the Cape Milner would like to encourage everyone to do the same, and assist with blankets, non-perishable foods, children’s clothes, baby food and female toiletries. The items can be dropped off at the following collection points: CTIC< Seven Eleven Kloof Street, The Castle or Mandela Rhodes Place. Let’s all get involved in and do our part in assisting this unfortunate situation.
A big congratulations goes to Norman And Freddie for being voted the Performers of the Month for April 2008. These two gentlemen have indeed been great ambassadors to the Cape Milner and we are extremely proud of their contribution to the services and standards of our hotel. Keep up the good work lads!
